Your information

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Aftercare Team Limited handles personal information when you visit our website or contact us.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Who we are

Aftercare Team Limited is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

  • Company number: 14061735
  • Registered in England and Wales
  • Registered office: Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE
  • Email: hello@aftercareteam.co.uk

Information we collect

We may collect personal information that you choose to give us when you contact us or place an order, including your name, email address, telephone number, business details, delivery address, order details, Google business information and the content of your enquiry or correspondence.

Our website and hosting providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure and maintain the website. This can include an IP address, browser or device information, pages requested, referring page and the date and time of a request.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and discuss our products or services;
  • take steps requested before entering into a contract;
  • process, programme, deliver and administer your orders or services;
  • operate, protect and improve our website and business; and
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Depending on the circumstances, we rely on taking steps before or performing a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in running and improving our business and responding to business enquiries.

Website analytics and cookies

With your consent, we use Statcounter to understand how visitors find and use our website, including referring websites, pages visited and device or browser information. Statcounter may process technical information such as your IP address and use cookies to measure visits. We use this information to improve our website and understand interest in our products and services. Read Statcounter's privacy information.

Statcounter only loads after you accept analytics. You can decline it without affecting access to the shop, or change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking; it does not undo information already collected. Our legal basis for optional analytics is consent.

We store your analytics choice and basket contents in your browser's local storage to remember your preference and operate the shop. A necessary checkout session cookie keeps your checkout secure and connects your payment to your order. We save contact details, delivery information, basket contents and order status when you continue to payment, including when payment is not completed. Checkout information is used to fulfil your order, rather than for visitor profiling. Our hosting providers may also keep technical server logs for reliability and security.

Who we share information with

We share your order total and delivery name and address with PayPal to arrange payment. We store PayPal order and transaction references and payment status, but do not collect your full card details. We also use delivery companies, website hosting, email and IT service providers to operate the shop. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with professional advice or a business reorganisation.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate legal safeguard is in place.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an enquiry, providing a service, keeping appropriate business records, and meeting legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to how it is used. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email hello@aftercareteam.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, website or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
